Acupressure Oil Massage

Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote circulation of blood and the body’s life force to aid healing. Acupuncture and acupressure use much the same points, but acupuncture uses needles while acupressure uses the gentle but firm pressure of hands (and even feet).
Acupressure can help relieve headache, neck, upper and lower back pain, eyestrain, sinus problems, arthritis, joint and muscle pain, stress related tension and anxiety, indigestion, constipation, ulcer pain, menstrual cramps, and can help healthy sleep.
Acupressure point therapy is combined with various western style massages (Swedish / Californian / Sensitive / Sports), as well as organic essential aromatherapy oils, to create Acupressure oil massage

Deep Tissue Oil Massage

Deep tissue massage is scientifically proven to quicken recovery from both acute and chronic sports injuries. It is used to ease tension, relax muscles, sinews and nerves, break up adhesions and fatty areas, stimulate the circulation and the lymphatic system to eliminate waste material. It is useful in maintaining muscle tone and circulation. Excellent for active people and helps build up fitness and strength.

It relieves lower back, shoulder and neck pain, circulation problems, oedema, carpal tunnel syndrome, fatigue and soreness.

Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the principle that all parts of the body are linked to reflexes in the hands and feet. Through the application of pressure with thumbs and fingers, these reflexes are stimulated, reducing stress and tension, improving circulation, increasing vitality and the feeling of well-being. Reflexology is also effective in treating grief, trauma, back pain, chronic pain, fatigue, detoxification. It is also very helpful in inducing labour. It is a beautiful session.

Reiki

Reiki is probably one of the simplest healing methods we know but also one of the most effective ways of transferring universal life energy. The therapist is a “channel” for this energy which makes its gentle and reassuring way to the area of the fully clothed person in need of treatment. It treats body, mind and spirit and strives to bring them into a state of balance or health. Reiki can help alleviate acute or chronic problems and will complement all other therapies.

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage has its origins over 2,500 years ago in Yoga philosophy. It is a fully clothed and strong massage. There is a lot of stretching involved. Many of its exercises may be described as applied hatha yoga. It loosens joints, including all the small joints and spine, increases mobility and vitality. It gives great relief for joint pain, stiffness, soreness, sports injuries, repetitive strain, wear and tear, arthritis and tiredness.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese word meaning “finger pressure”. It is a Japanese acupressure art of balancing the body for structural integration and muscular tension release. It is a fully clothed massage. It is characterized by its seeming simplicity, by its deep abdominal organ massage, as well as its focus on releasing tension and promoting balance through deep respiration. Shiatsu gives a still, relaxed pressure on the acupuncture point and meridians of the body with the hands and thumbs. Underneath the uncomplicated movements much is happening internally to the body’s energy on a subtle level. Shiatsu helps even out the swings between the extremes of Yin and Yang, to find appropriate balance, harmony and serenity.
